Give a Gift of Fitness

1.  Toe Sox

The grippy bottoms and instep band make this a great sock for Pilates to avoid sliding or slipping on your mat. Toeless for summer and full toe for winter?  You decide.

2.  Lululemon Wunder Under Hi Rise Tight

I’ve worn these workout tights for 4 years and they look and feel brand new. And the waistband rides, well, at your waist.  Need I say more?  A worthwhile investment

3.  S’Well Bottle

I haven’t used this product yet but the S’well bottle is a beautifully crafted bottle that keeps drinks cold for 24 hours and hot for 12. S’well was launched in 2010 with a mission to rid the world of plastic bottles and they’re a supporter of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, donating $200,000 since 2015.

4.  Balanced Body Foam Roller

A foam roller is a must have for any home gym.  It’s a great way to stretch out before and after workouts and can even be used to work on core stability.

5.  Omron Pedometer

Omron makes a wide range of pedometers that are inexpensive and well made.  If you’re just not into the FitBit thing, this is a simple alternative to track your steps.

6.  Isokinetics Fitness Ball

I’ve used this brand of fitness ball for years because they are sturdy and the sizing is consistent.  Plus they come in all sorts of colors.

7.  Ibex Outdoor Clothing

I’m a wool nut.  I love lightweight wool and this is my favorite for winter workouts.  The Ibex Woolies 150  Crew with a thin stretch t-shirt underneath is just the warmth I need for teaching or training.

8.  The Pilates Body by Brooke Siler

Bar none, the best Pilates reference book ever!  My copy is 15 years old and the pages are well worn.  If you have only one Pilates book on your shelf, this should be it.

9.  Balanced Body Aeromats

These are very cushiony mats that work well for a home workout space.  My clients ask for them all the time because they support your joints and bones as they move through the Pilates mat exercises.
